Thank you Ken and Ivanette. Your personal care and interest in missionary families is warm and genuine, and your years of missionary experience in so many different places probably means that no situation takes you by surprise! What a wealth of experience. I particularly appreciated your comments about missionaries sent by local churches in contrast to our denominational sending of missionaries, where salary and leave and education for children are taken care of, but the connection with local church support may not be there. So your ministry is so valuable. It would be worth coming to GC just to meet up with you in the Missionary Lodge!
