Re-thinking Digital Outreach: A Strategy for Adventist Missionaries
Every Adventist cross- cultural missionary seeks to be part of God’s bigger plan to prepare this world for Jesus’ return to this world. How you practically implement this calling depends on many variables, including the nature of everyday job-related activities, knowledge of local language, ability to make friends with host community members, etc. As a Missionary, you do want to exert spiritual influence in the lives of people. But the challenges to spiritual work are many. And so are the opportunities.
One emerging opportunity for personal and community spiritual impact is digital outreach. What is it as a trend today? How can it be a practical tool in a missionary’s life? And what are the possibilities Adventist missionaries can utilize? Such are the questions we tackle in the Live Event on November 18, 2021.
This program is brought to you by Institute of World Mission (IWM) and a group of missiologists from Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) in the Philippines—a primary General Conference educational institution in Asia.
We will look at trends, research, and practical examples contributing to a strategy for outreach every Adventist missionary can try and adopt.
What you will learn:
- Observe successful examples of digital outreach
- Look at research and trends regarding digital outreach in the Adventist Church
